Tencel Care

Hand Wash Instructions

Step 1: Ensure you read the cloth care label as not all Tencel garments could be hand-washed. If your garment could be hand-washed, make lather from cold water and a gentle detergent.

Step 2: Soak your Tencel garment in the lather for 20 minutes.

Step 3: Swirl in the lather and rinse in cold, clean water.

Step 4: Air dry your garment by hanging it on a clothesline or wrap it in a soft towel and put it in a dryer.

Machine wash Instructions

Step 1: Fill the machine with cold water and gentle detergent. Set your machine to gentle cycle and toss your Tencel fabric in the machine and allow it to wash.

Step 2: Rinse your Tencel in cold water and hang it on a clothesline. Do not tumble dry your garment.

Ironing

Using mildly hot iron not more than 40°C, gently press the surface. Do not use a steam iron. However, if your iron is a steam iron, turn off the steam function as steam could wrinkle the surface of your garment.

Storage Care

Hang your dry garment on a hanger positioned beside a gauze parcel containing natural moth repellents like cedar or lavender or thyme. Airs dry your garment after each wear as moths are attached to body oils.
